MEET YOUR VILLAGE

Myriam Sanchez
Owner & Clinical Therapist
Serving adults, couples, families, and pregnant and postpartum parents at Your Family Wellness Village
My name is Myriam, I am the owner of Your Family Wellness Village. I am a perinatal and couples/family therapist devoted to providing you with emotional and practical support, whether you are coming to us as part of a couple, family, or are a new parent. I graduated with my Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Adler University and then proceeded to work in private practice settings, as well as in partial hospital programs. Throughout my 10+ years in practice, I acquired certificates in Positive Discipline Parent Educator, and in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. I work mainly from an ACT framework, guiding my clients to identify their core values, formulate committed actions towards those values, and identify road blocks in their lives. I also pull from attachment theory, helping you identify and form secure bonds with significant relationships in your life.
My life and work journey have taught me that it takes a village not only to raise children but to go through life in general! You don’t have to do it alone. Take the first step towards building your supportive village now. Call for a free 15-minute phone assessment to see which service best fits your needs.

Candis Nikolic
Licensed Social Worker
Bilingual Therapist (English & Spanish)
Serving Individuals, Couples, and Families at Your Family Wellness Village
Hola, I'm Candis Nikolic, a Licensed Social Worker and bilingual therapist who provides compassionate, culturally grounded care in both English and Spanish. I specialize in supporting individuals, couples, and families through life transitions, trauma, relationship challenges, and emotional struggles. Whether you're navigating personal healing or working to strengthen your relationship, I offer a safe and supportive space where your voice matters and your experiences are honored.
With over a decade of experience across schools, group homes, community programs, and private practice, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse communities, including Latinx and immigrant families. I deeply value cultural identity, generational dynamics, and the importance of family and connection in our healing journeys.
I hold a Bachelor's in Family, Consumer, and Nutrition Sciences with a minor in Women's Studies, and a Master's in Social Work with a focus on Family Social Science and School Social Work certification. My practice is rooted in evidence-based approaches of ACT and CBT. I also draw from trauma-informed, strength-based, and culturally responsive frameworks, blending in techniques from DBT, Family Systems, and Humanistic therapy to support healing and growth at your own pace.
Whether you’re a couple looking to rebuild trust, communicate more effectively, or reconnect emotionally, or an individual seeking clarity and calm, I'm here to walk with you. I believe healing is possible when we feel seen, respected, and empowered. Together, we’ll create a collaborative path forward built on trust, cultural respect, and your own inner strength.

Sarah Lyons
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Serving individuals, adults, adolescents, and pregnant and postpartum parents at Your Family Wellness Village.
Hi, I’m Sarah Lyons, a Licensed Social Worker with 8 years of experience walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and safe. If you’ve ever felt like you had to carry everything on your own, I'm here to help share that burden. My clients often share that thru work with me, they feel genuinely supported and empowered to break free from cycles that no longer serve them.
I bring compassion and a collaborative spirit to my work. Together, we’ll explore what healing means for you, whether you're moving through trauma, anxiety, self-doubt, or major life transitions. I’ve had the honor of supporting survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, people navigating pregnancy and postpartum, teens working through anxiety and self-esteem, and those facing tough transitions or substance use challenges.
As a therapist who believes in family-centered, culturally responsive care, I use CBT and other evidence-based practices, but always through a lens that honors your lived experience.
You deserve healing, joy, and a life that reflects your truest self. I’m here to walk with you on that journey, reminding you that your story is powerful, your growth is possible, and your voice matters.

Working with us is like...
Working with us is like having a guide next to you, to follow you through the ups and downs, celebrate the small victories, and help vent and process the big setbacks. Therapists don't give advice, because our clients already know what to do. We empower clients to find that voice within and then act on it through small committed actions.
Our favorite part is when we witness clients' progress big and small: less tearfulness, connection among relationships, gains in the confidence, and leveled moods. We find it to be an honor to hold people's vulnerable and delicate stories!
